We are hiring! Seeking a dynamic individual for the role of technician experienced in venue operations, touring, and artist collaboration.
We are an independent arts space in Dundalk, Co. Louth with two theatres, a gallery, artist studios, a production house. We are a meeting point for creatives, a supporter of artists and a home for the arts in Dundalk. Our programme is a diverse collection of local arts, national tours, workshops, exhibitions and in-house productions.
The successful candidate should be an experienced technician with a background preferably in a venue(s) and/or working in or with a touring company, and must be able to demonstrate solid experience in working with a range of artists and production companies. The role involves providing technical services of the theatre, and occasional support of exhibitions within our visual arts spaces.
The role requires a motivated and dynamic person who can develop, maintain and deliver the highest standard of technical assistance to incoming performances and visual arts exhibitions. The candidate should be methodical, well organised and have the ability to manage multiple priorities. They will need to take ownership of their role and be responsible for their own work and actions, recognising the impact that these have both internally and externally.
