CREATIVE RESIDENCY OPEN CALL 2024
We currently have a number of artist residency opportunities and are creating a panel of artists from all artistic disciplines who are interested in completing a residency at An Táin Arts Centre in 2024.
The programme is open to established artists and creative practitioners from all artistic disciplines from or based in the North East of Ireland, looking to develop their practice in a community setting. Whether you are a filmmaker, a writer, musician, visual artist, dancer, actor or performer, our creative residencies offer space and time to develop your practice while being supported by a financial stipend. in a supportive and vibrant environment.
Applications from individual artists and/or collectives working in any artistic discipline are welcome. The resident artists will be provided with studio space for three months and a living stipend of €6,000 for the same period. The hours of the residency are flexible. Our opening hours are 10.00-16.00 Tuesday to Saturday additional access is available with prior agreement. Living accommodation is not included in the residency.
HOW TO APPLY
Please email paul@antain.ie with one pdf document including the following details:
- CV (max three pages)
- Proposal for residency (500-1000 words). This should include any specific work that you are hoping to research or develop during the residency. If you are open to engaging with other artists in a collaborative way or the community through outreach or workshops, please set it out in this proposal. Although outreach and collaboration is encouraged, it is not a requirement of the residency.
- Samples of current and previous work (max three pages), please include any links to video or audio materials within these pages.
- Email and phone contact details for two professional / academic references
- Application deadline: Friday 16th June at 5pm

Candidates will be shortlisted by interview process based on CV, proposal, portfolio, and references. A panel of successful candidates will be created and residency places will be offered as they become available throughout 2024.
