Ever wanted to develop your artistic skills? An Táin Arts Centre are running art classes for adults with artist Miseon Lee, one of the most distinguished portrait artists in Ireland. Learn how to paint a beautiful portrait and to improve your artistic skills generally. The course is for 6 weeks and will take place at our An Táin Arts Centre Jocelyn Street premises. All materials are provided and all skill levels are welcome to participate.

Miseon Lee’s works have been selected consistently for the RHA’s Annual Exhibitions since 2010 where she received awards from the RHA in 2010 and 2012. She has also had numerous solo and group exhibitions in Ireland and internationally. In 2021, she was awarded the Fergus Ahern Award at the Boyle Arts Festival. She was also shortlisted for the Zurich Portrait Prize in 2018 and 2019, and the Hennessy Portrait Prize in 2015, both at the National Gallery Ireland. In addition, she was also shortlisted for the BP Portrait Award at the National Portrait Gallery in London in 2013 and 2016. Lastly, she was also one of the six portrait artists featured in the BBC program “Portrait of an Artist” and her works form part of the private collection curated by the National Gallery Ireland and the Trinity College Dublin.

Art Classes will take at An Táin Arts Centre Jocelyn Street A91 N1NP just a few doors down from our Main building on Crowe Street.
