Culture Night is an annual all-island public event that celebrates culture, creativity and the arts. We are planning a Culture Night to remember with something for everyone.

Events kick off at 6pm and run until 9pm.

6pm – 9pm: Late night Gallery opening and open studio with Riley Waite, our Emerging Visual Artist in Residence. – No booking required

6pm – 8pm: Face-painting in the Basement Gallery with Linda McConville. – No booking required

6:30pm – 7:30pm: Open Mic Night in the foyer with An Táin Arts Centre’s School of Music, presented by Grow Music, showcasing our fabulous students and teachers – No booking required

6:30pm & 7:30pm Art workshops for 8 – 12 yrs & 13+ yrs with our Emerging Visual Artist in residence Riley Waite in the gallery workshop room. Booking required

7:00pm: A short story reading with our Writer in Residence Radhika Iyer in our workshop room. Booking required.

7:30pm – 8:30pm: Busking outside An Táin Arts Centre with Dundalk Youth Centre curated by Mark Corcoran. No booking required

8pm: End of residency showcase by An Táin Arts Centre’s Songwriter in residence, Mark Corcoran in the workshop room. – Booking required.

We are delighted to also be opening up Bó Studios, An Táin Arts Centre’s artist studios to the public. The studios are housed in our second space on Jocelyn Street and there will be a special exhibition of work on-site on the night where unique artworks can be purchased and the artists will be available on the night to talk about their artistic practice and meet the public.

All events are free to attend, some events require booking.
